🏰 Chapter 1 – The lost treasure

It is early morning at the cold Castle of Devalona in the North.
The king looks angry and worried.
“My gold treasure is gone!” he says. “Someone stole it during the night! A thief!”
All the knights stand in silence.
Then the king turns to you.
“You are brave, my dear ...” he says. “Find my treasure and bring it back.”
A young maid runs into the room.
“My king,” she says, “I saw two men on horses last night! One rode west to the white church. He wore a black cloak. And the other wore a red cloak and rode southeast to the watchtower gate.”
The king nods slowly.
“Then that is where you must begin your search.”
You take your sword, your cloak, your horse and your courage.
The cold wind blows from the north.
Your journey begins

â›Ș Chapter 2 – The white church

You ride to the white church in the west.
Snow falls quietly around you.
When you arrive, an old priest stands outside.
He looks frightened when you say the word thief.
“Yes, I saw a man,” he whispers. “He wore a black cloak and rode fast through the village.”
“He stopped for a moment near the church, but when someone called his name, he rode away quickly.”
“What name?” you ask.
The priest frowns. “They called him Aramon.”
You thank the priest and look at the snow.
There are hoofprints leading south.
The rider with black cloak escaped again.
You follow the trail toward a small village near a fountain.

đŸ˜ïž Chapter 3 – The village by the fountain

It is already evening when you reach the village.
The houses are warm and full of light.
You enter the local inn to rest your horse.
The innkeeper looks at you with interest.
“Another knight?” he asks. “One came last night. He wore a red cloak.”
You sit down and listen carefully.
“He was nervous,” the innkeeper says. “Someone tried to steal his bag, so he jumped out the back window. He left his horse behind.”
You go to the stable and see the horse.
It wears strong armor — the kind that cannot burn in fire.
That is strange. Why would a thief need armor against fire?
You thank the innkeeper and ride south-west, where you see the light of a lighthouse by the sea.

💡 Chapter 4 – The western lighthouse

Waves crash against the rocks as you reach the lighthouse.
The keeper opens the door and lets you in.
He is an old man with a gray beard.
“You are not the first knight today,” he says. “Another one came in the morning.”
“Did he wear a black cloak?” you ask.
“Yes,” says the man. “He asked about ships. He wanted to sail away.”
The old man points across the island.
“Another lighthouse stands in the east of our island. A ship waits beside it. But the ship never left.”
You look out the window and see a light far away.
Why did the ship stay?
You decide to travel south, toward the desert, to look for more answers. But before you open the door of the lighthouse again, wind starts blowing. Waves are now too big. It is not safe to go outside.
